Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
Vasco Career College provides official American Heart Association CPR/BLS for Healthcare Provider Courses and Professionals.
The AHA CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers course satisfies INITIAL and RENEWAL certification requirements. The BLS for Healthcare Providers Course teaches the skills of CPR for victims of all ages. The course is designed for healthcare providers working both in and out of hospital. The BLS course curriculum includes:
Assessment of Unresponsive Victims
Adult Chest Compressions for one and two Rescuers
- Ventilation with a Pocket Mask
- Ventilation with Bag Valve Mask
- Ventilation with Supplemental Oxygen
Child and Infant CPR
- Infant and Child Chest Compressions
Helping Choking Victims of all ages
Proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
Upon successful course completion you will be issued an official AHA BLS Provider card on site
NOTE:
Students must be able to read English sufficiently to understand the skill handbook. They must be in good physical shape to kneel on the floor for training. Students will not be admitted late.
Bring some snacks to class.
